Cam'ron announced on his Instagram July 4 as the release date for his new mixtape "Ghetto Heaven Vol. 1." After months of delays, Cam'ron returns to the mixtape game.

Along with his latest release "Golden Friends," the Harlem rapper revealed the cover art for the new project, which features Ronald McDonald aiming with a gun and Hamburglar smiling in the back. Cam'ron also names himself as "KillA Cam" on the artwork.

The Dipset rapper was missing in action in the rap game for a while. More than a decade ago, the rapper released his "Confessions of Fire" LP in 1998, and he was all about the Diplomats movement with fellow Harlem rappers Jim Jones and Juelz Santana, during a prolific and high-profile crime era. A few years later, Cam'ron was shot in 2005, during a failed carjacking attempt in Washington D.C.

Ever since then, Killa Cam kept a lower profile following the horrifying incident. However, he still kept releasing his mixtapes once in a while. His previous release includes 2011's "Gunz N' Butta" LP with Vado, which wasn't really acknowledged by listeners. In 2012, the rapper collaborated with Wiz Khalifa for "The Bluff" and appeared in "March with The Diplomats in New York, New York," which was a 10-year reunion concert celebrating of the team's Diplomatic Immunity album.

This time, Cam'ron keeps it strictly for the block -- his new mixtape features guest appearances Sen City, Loaded Lux, 2 Chainz and more. The production was assisted by Araab Muzik, Skitzo, YH Zombies, among others.
