Elizabeth Olsen, the younger sister of former child stars Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, has landed a big part in the upcoming Avengers sequel, Avengers: Age of Ultron, according to Samuel L. Jackson as reported by the Wall Street Journal.

"I don't think we begin shooting before March of next year," Jackson said. "I know we're shooting in London, that James Spader is Ultron and going to be the bad guy, and that we added Ms. [Elizabeth] Olsen (who will play the Scarlet Witch), but I don't know what she's doing, if she's on the inside or the outside. I haven't seen a script."

Olsen rose to fame in 2011 and appeared in Silent House, Martha Marcy May Marline, and Red lights. She is also being featured in an incoming Spike Lee film called Oldboy.

The Avengers sequel likely will not be in theaters until the spring of 2015, which would be roughly a year or so after the anticipated beginning of production in 2014.

The original Avengers film was released in 2012 and set a record for the biggest opening debut in North America when it racked up more than $200 million in a weekend. The film series is based on superheroes in the Marvel Comics such as Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, and Ant-Man.

Chris Hemsworth and Scarlett Johansson, who were featured in the first film, said last month that they would be on board for the sequel. Hemsworth was Thor in the first film while Johansson was Black Widow.
