After weeks of losing one contestant at a time, Sunday's episode of "Yo Soy el Artista' eliminated many ahead of the finale.

According to Telemundo, the emotional episode ended up with five semifinalists: Cesar, Cathia, Aaron, Carlos and Jenilca.

Pablo, Envee, Nat'Lee and Joanna were eliminated. Though Pablo was saved once again by the audience's votes, his performance wasn't enough to make him a semi finalist.

In special VIP footage, Envee, who was one of the favorites of the judges, took some time to thank everyone who had supported her along the way.

"I'm so proud to be here," she said. "Thank you so much. All my love to all of you."

Envee also joked about her Spanish, saying that people stuck by her even though she constantly flubbed her words. She also congratulated the contestants that did make it through to the top five.

Meanwhile, Nat'Lee talked about how difficult the journey has been for the final five, as well as everyone else who competed. She said everyone put their heart into the competition.

"They really deserve it," she said in Spanish. "I'm here like a proud fan. You see me a little teary-eyed because, of course, I wanted to be a finalist. But I got this far, and I never imagined I would."

Nat'Lee said she is mostly happy about everything she's learned from the competition. She said that in two months, she feels she's grown as much as she would have in five years. According to the singer, not only did she grow as an artist, but also became a better person.

For Pablo, who had the most chances out of any contestant, it was important to acknowledge the people who got him that far: the public.

"That love from the public is something I'll never forget," he said. "I'm thankful that people liked me. That's all I wanted. And well, it's onward for me."
