Yankees star Alex Rodriguez vowed to stop talking about his suspension until the end of the season. With the off-season just beginning this week for most teams, the Biogenesis talks are back in the air, and so is Rodriguez's appeal process.

Rodriguez, who was slapped with a 211-game suspension following the Biogensis scandal and subsequent investigation, has maintained his innocence while his attorneys have worked hard to keep MLB from smearing his name. Rodriguez is in the middle of appealing his suspension.

MLB executives have feuded publicly with Rodriguez's attorneys; one case in August involved a situation where MLB asked Rodriguez to come forward and publicize drug tests and documents. A-Rod's lawyers dismissed MLB's move as a publicity stunt.

"The letter that was addressed to my law office with the words 'Via Hand Delivery' on top was in fact never delivered to my office but was instead given to the 'Today' show, which in and of itself is yet another violation of the confidentiality clause of the JDA," Rodriguez's attorney, Joe Tacopina, said.

It wasn't long after when Rodriguez decided to pull the plug on the back-and-forth exchanges and said he wanted to solely focus on his season.

But some rumors about Rodriguez -- true or not -- have been making the rounds once again. The New York Daily News reported that Rodriguez was appealing his suspension based on the fact that he allegedly did not know the supplements he received were illegal.

However, Joel Sherman of the New York Post tweeted a statement from Rodriguez with details about his arbitration hearing.

"We cannot provide any details of this hearing as the Chair of the Arbitration Panel has issued order prohibiting all parties from commenting publicly on the confidential proceedings, but what is being reported is NOT true."

Regardless of what is true or not, it remains to be seen whether Rodriguez will play at all next season. The 38-year-old third baseman hit 7 home runs this season with 19 RBI in 44 games.
