This year deals on professional-grade Nikon cameras make them much more affordable to give or get as gifts this holiday season. Extended Cyber Monday sales and other holiday specials at various retailers have slashed prices on a wide array of the company's cameras.

Nikon itself is marking down its own products, including cameras and accessories like lens caps, hoods and other attachments. The popular Nikon CoolPix and Nikon 1 series of digital cameras are among the featured discounted product.

A Nikon CoolPix L830 digital camera, normally selling at retail stores for $299 can now be purchased for $169 as an extension of Cyber Monday offers. The CoolPix P530 Digital Camera is slashed down from its regular selling price of $446 down to $296 as part of the same sale.

The more basic Nikon point and shoot digital camera, the CoolPix L30, is available at $86, which is $30 below its regular price of $116. Another $30 drop was taken off the pick colored Nikon CoolPix S5300, which can be picked up for $146 and the silver coated Nikon CoolPix S9700 typically priced at $346 is now pushed just below $300 at $296.

If the CoolPix product line is not the kind of Nikon wanted, the DSLR cameras are also discounted. The Nikon D3300 Digital SLR camera offers a significant mark-down of $150 from its regular price of $646. The D5200 Digital SLR camera prototype was dropped $200 down to $496 and D5300 Digital SLR will be now listed at $696, $100 lower than its regular price.

One of its more recent products, the Nikon D7100, was also discounted a whopping $250, but still quite costly at $946.

Some of the Nikon 1 series of mirrorless digital cameras are also being offered for less. The Nikon 1 AW1 and J4 Mirrorless Digital Cameras have been marked down $100 at $696 and $496, respectively.

Other than simply marking down the price, Nikon mirrorless cameras also include additional freebies. For customers who buy one of the Nikon 1 V2 products, a high-quality camera case will be included. If a V3 camera is purchased, it comes with a free Nikon FT1 mount adaptor, which usually costs an additional $237.
