The Duchess of Cambridge's hair has been described as many things-all positive-from luscious to beautiful and glamorous.

That is, until the Duke of Cambridge described her hair as a "nightmare" during a private visit to the homeless charity Centrepoint, reports Daily Mail.

Prince William was talking with a hair stylist in training named Angel during a mentoring session, when he quipped that she should attempt styling his wife's "nightmare hair."

The moment came during a visit to Centrepoint's health center in central London for a breakfast where the Duke also met business volunteers and young homeless people.

Prince William may think of his wife's hair as "nightmarish," but the Duchess is famous for her glossy hair which is tended to by hair stylist Amanda Cook Tucker.

Tucker was part of the Cambridge entourage that flew to New York this month. She is believed to be responsible for Kate's evolving glamorous style, including the chic up-do's we have seen in recent months.

The Duke, who became a patron of Centrepoint in 2005, visited without his wife to attend a healthy breakfast where young people learned about selecting and preparing nutritional food.

William reportedly showed more interest in the center's sweet treats. The Centrepoint tweeted about William's "sweet tooth" with the hashtag #whoateallthechocolate.

Seyi Obakin, Centrepoint's chief executive, told the Daily Mail, "The Duke of Cambridge's visit provided a huge boost for all the young people he met ahead of Christmas, which for them can be a difficult and emotional time."

Centrepoint estimates that 15,000 young people will be alone and homeless this Christmas.

"We must ensure that, wherever they are, young people have the vital support they need to leave homelessness behind," said Obakin.

Duchess Kate attended a meeting of the 23rd Poplar Beaver Scout Colony Tuesday night in East London.  She surprised many with her casual attire that included a black hoodie and J Brand jeans. She spent the evening helping the scouts gain their Disability Awareness Award badges by icing a cake blindfolded and learning the Scout promise in sign language.
