Fans of CBS' "Criminal Minds" are less than two weeks away from an all-new episode, featuring an intense case involving mass murder, occultism and "Melrose Place" alum Grant Alan Show.

During the next episode, "The Forever People," the FBI's elite BAU will discover frozen bodies in Nevada and go on the hunt for the suspected cult behind the mass murder. Show, who is best known for playing Jake Hanson on "Melrose Place," will play the role of Cult Leader Colton Grant, reports Breathe Cast.

In addition, Pakistani-American actor Faran Tahir will reprise his role as Tivon Askari, the terrorist who kidnapped JJ back in Season 9.

CBS issued a press release with the official synopsis, which reads as follows:

"When frozen bodies are found in Nevada floating in water, the BAU's investigation leads them to suspect that the victims were part of a cult that could be behind the deaths. Also, JJ (A.J. Cook) confronts old demons from her abduction and torture last year. Grant Show guest stars. Faran Tahir returns as Tivon Askari, who abducted JJ last year," according to CarterMatt.

Not only do fans of "Criminal Minds" have a lot to anticipate when the show returns with new episodes in 2015, but they can also look forward to a brand new "Criminal Minds" spinoff.

According to Deadline, CBS has given executive producer Erica Messer the green light to launch another series based on the veteran crime drama procedural. However, the spinoff will focus on a different division of the FBI and will feature FBI agents who help American citizens in danger in other countries.

The show will begin filming in mid-February, but casting for the prospective series is already underway.

Season 10, Episode 11 of "Criminal Minds," "The Forever People," will air on Jan. 14 on CBS.
