The Oscar winner actress and a single mom Sandra Bullock is considered as a "superwoman" figure by many, because of her strong radiating personality and many talents that she possesses. On October 12, her appearance on Britain's "The Jonathan Ross Show" surprised everyone at the audience by showing off her hidden talent -- her rapping skills.

Bullock was nominated for an Oscar and is a frontrunner for a second Academy Award for the movie, "Gravity," which also costars George Clooney. In the film, she plays a role of a female novice astronaut who gets separated from her colleague Clooney. The actress was on the show to promote her acclaimed new movie.

The 49-year-old actress looked slim and beautiful, sporting a black-and-white fitted jacket, black shorts, and a pair of black heels, as she was entertaining the audience, as usual.

The host brought up the subject of rapping by asking Bullock about the rapping contests that she and other members of the cast and crew took part in. The "Gravity" star honestly shared her rapping history of why she memorized all the words to the 1979 hip-hop classic "Rapper's Delight" by the Sugarhill Gang.

"The sad part is, I learned the words because I liked this guy in high school," said Sandra Bullock. "And I was like, 'Next time I go to that dance, I'm gonna know every word. And I'm going to make sure he sees me lip-syncing it, and I'm gonna catch his eye, and I'm gonna say the words. And he's gonna like me."

Jonathan Ross then asked Bullock if she could remember the words to the song and she'd do a little demonstration. The actress agreed in one condition - "I need some beats. Give me some beats, yo!" As the iconic beat started playing, Sandra Bullock rapped the verse, "I said a hip, hop, the hippie-the hippie / To the hip hip-hop, and you don't stop..."

After her unexpected amusing rap performance, Ross asked Bullock if the guy liked her back. She said laughing, "Sadly, it worked."

Sandra Bullock certainly showed off her diversity and knowledge of hip-hop, and we all know now that she can rap.
