With "Mi Corazón Es Tuyo" inching toward its finale, producer Juan Osorio has opened up about what audiences can expect.

Osorio and his team are working hard to deliver an impactful ending, according to Diario Basta.

"Many surprises are coming," he said. "We're going to Huatulco, which is the discovery of the couple. Last night I didn't sleep. I was up until five in the morning with my team of writers working. We want to shock people. There's a big surprise that people don't expect for the finale."

The telenovela will have alternate endings and the opportunity for the audience to play an active part in the show.

"There will be alternate endings, but with surprises, where we involve social media participation," he said. "And there will be a lot of things that I think will work."

The show will end in March in Mexico and about a month later on Univision.

Osorio also talked about what he plans to do next in his career.

"Difficult things are coming," he said. "After 'Mi Corazón Es Tuyo' it will be difficult to choose another story. ... So I am giving myself time to finish. We need to finish the show with high ratings, and after that, I will plan what comes."

Osorio is not in a rush to immediately jump into another project. Instead, he wants to enjoy what he and his team have accomplished.

Recently, Mayrín Villanueva, who plays villain Isabela on the show, explained that playing an evil character wasn't all it was cracked up to be.

"I think those who say the villain has more fun is mistaken," she said, according to Diario Basta. "They are the ones who suffer most, and that's how I see it now that I am on this side."

Regardless of playing a calculating, evil woman who will not let main characters Fernando and Ana be together, she is not treated poorly by the show's young fans.

"They say I am evil, but they give me hugs, so that comforts me, because at the end, it's just a character that I play," she said.
