Supermodel, mom, Topshop designer -- Kate Moss has added on another role on her list. She has joined the editorial team behind British Vogue as a contributing fashion editor.

Moss and Vogue have a quite inseparable relationship. Since her debut on March 1993 issue, the 39-year-old model appeared on 33 British Vogue covers, as well as countless shoots inside the magazine. She also has a previous experience in guest-editing for production of a Vogue Paris edition.

"I am absolutely delighted that Kate is going to work with us in this new role," said Vogue editor-in-chief Alexandra Shulman. "Her undoubtedly brilliant sense of style, depth of fashion knowledge, and understanding of what makes a wonderful image will be exciting to see used in the pages of British Vogue. I am really looking forward to working with her on ideas."

Now Moss will be on the other side of the magazine, directing the creative experience. She will be a hands-on editor and join the rest of Vogue's fashion team of stylists, including Topshop collaborator and editor Kate Phelan, to produce editorial shoots with her choice of photographers and models.

"We are absolutely thrilled at Kate's appointment," said Sarah Doukas, founder of Storm Models, which represents Moss. "This is a natural development in her remarkable career. Bringing her unique sense of style and creative sensibility to Vogue is the perfect fit. She is the definitive Vogue cover girl."

Kate Moss' first fashion story for the publication will feature in an upcoming spring issue, and she will resume her design collaboration with Topshop, with a collection to be released in April 2014.
