Dancing With The Stars season 17 contestants took a breather after the producers of the show announced the good news that for the week 6 episode, there wouldn't be any elimination due to a technical error.

Masslive reports that it was during the end of the episode that the host explained the reason behind the non-elimination episode. The phone numbers announced for voting the celebrity contestants were not right which made the producers scrap it all off.

Dancing With The Stars Season 17 Week 6 Episode Recap

The episode held a 'switch up challenge' theme that works like a dance marathon which they have done in previous seasons. It was Elizabeth Berkley who got the first perfect score for the season, which is a whopping 30/30, OnTheRedCarpet reports. She also got additional 2 bonus points for the challenge. Her performance was described by the panel of judges as clean and highly consistent.

As for the lowest scorer, it was Bill Engvall and Emma Slater who got only 1 bonus point for the challenge and a total of just 24 points from the judges. It could have been the song that made it bad for their tango performance having chosen the song Cheeseburger in Paradise.

Ledger-Inquirer suspects though that a double elimination may potentially happen by next episode. There were Ariana Grande and MIKA who served as musical guests of the episode.

The contestants who are already out of the game include NFL star Keyshawn Johnson, Bill Nye, Valerie Harper and Christina Milian.
