2K Sports is working overtime, releasing new gameplay images, video and details about what could be the best basketball simulation game in history: the NBA 2K14 Next-Gen.

The game publishers have not been without an update about the video game the past few days. Available on both next generation consoles PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, 2K Sports released the first trailer of the game last week to much fanfare. The 1 minute, 33 second-video has got everybody raving about its impeccable graphics and insane gameplay. Published on  2K's official Facebook page, more than 1,400 comments have been posted about it already.

"2K doing it big cant wait to get my hands on this game," replied a fan to the post.

"This trailer looks 10x better than the Live 14 trailer. I think they were confused on if they used next gen or current gen," another fan commented.

The trailer got even experts and analysts talking about it. Experts from IGN have it called it "amazing."

With the buzz seemingly growing for the game, 2K is taking advantage by releasing a full batch of gameplay snapshots from NBA 2K14 Next-Gen. The series images show a mid-close up shot of Ray Allen in the white home jersey of the Miami Heat against a blurred background of game spectators. In this image alone, fans can readily see the difference of the audience - each one seemingly different - from that of NBA 2K14 current gen.

Another shows Kobe Bryant doing what seems like a behind the back crossover. If anyone were to take a picture of Kobe with the exact angle, it'd be hard to tell which one is the real Mamba and which is the computer generated one.

Several other shots include Kevin Durant carrying ball, a new and more in-depth way of talking with GM, and what seems as a dugout image during rookie showcase.

NBA 2K14 is already available for pre-order, here. It will drop in stores on launch dates of the PS4 and Xbox One.
