Android phones are selling well, but Apple's new larger-sized phones are luring buyers to their side. What will Android do to be the winner in 2015? Let's take a look at what Android has in store for this year.

The Sony Xperia Z4 will improve on the Xperia Z3 and make it even better. There is even speculation that the new James Bond movie will use this phone and actor Daniel Craig and director S Mendes will somehow be involved with designing it.

The Xperia Z4, according to rumors, will be available in two screen resolutions: either 1440p or 1080p. The screen size may be either 5.4 inches or 5.2 inches. In addition, it looks like Sony plans to use the ultra-strong Gorilla Glass 4 for the screen. Gorilla Glass is a scratch-resistant glass. Finally, the screen could very well be capable of displaying 4K video as well.

According to reports, the Xperia Z4 will have a 21 MP camera and have over 9 hours of battery life.

Finally, the Xperia Z4 is expected to come with either 3 GB or 4 GB of RAM and will run Android Lollipop 5.0. The Z4 will also get a 21 MP camera.

Meanwhile. LG will continue to update its G series smartphones by making the LG G4. The G4 will take the G3 model and make it better.

Updates might include an upgrade from the G3's 13 MP camera to a 16 MP camera.

In addition, the G4 is expected to be equipped with Android Lollipop right out of the box.

The smartphone is expected to have a 5.3-inch screen (down from the G3's 5.5 inches). Other updates could include LG using their own octa-core processor. If that does not happen, they will reportedly use Qualcomm's octa-core.

Samsung will continue to offer the Galaxy model. This time it will likely be called the Samsung Galaxy S6. Nothing official has come from Samsung, but it is very likely that this model will be introduced in March.

The Galaxy S6 could have a fingerprint sensor similar to that of Apple TouchID.

The screen size may be around 5.5 inches and it is likely to be displayed at a 1440 x 2560 screen resolution. The Galaxy G6 is expected to use the Gorilla Glass 4 screen too.

The Galaxy S6 is also said to be coming with premium earbuds from Sennheiser, according to SamMobile.
