"World of Warcraft" has issued a Patch 6.1 that introduces over a dozen improvements, including the delayed blood elf character models upgrade, a selfie camera reward and Twitter integration.

"World of Warcraft" players can get the S.E.L.F.I.E. Camera after successfully completing a new level 100 mission called Field Photography, reports Polygon. Players turn the camera on their character to snap a selfie, which is saved to a screenshots folder. Characters can emote while the camera is pointed at them to capture photos of teeth barring, kissy faces, smiles and more.

In addition, players can take a follow-up mission called "Lens Some Hands" that rewards cyber narcissists with three filters: a Death filter, a Sketch filter and a Black and White filter for use with the S.E.L.F.I.E. Camera. Using the filters, player characters can show off new armor or mug for the camera during the epic battle between the Horde and Alliance.

The new selfies seem to have a clipping issue, however, as the player's camera arm seems to be problematic, according to Polygon.

What good is a selfie if it cannot be shared on social media? Patch 6.1 adds Twitter integration so that gamers can share selfies and send tweets requesting items, announcing achievements and sharing screenshots from within the game using the "/share" command. Players can add or remove a Twitter account using a new social settings pane.

Meanwhile, the Blood Elves have been overhauled with increased texture resolution and fidelity but retain their original look. Gamers can view the Joystiq gallery to see the new Blood Elf character models. The models have also been introduced in "Warlords of Draenor."

The "World of Warcraft" blog posted this invitation to test the 6.1 patch:

"Patch 6.1 is now available for testing on the Public Test Realms (PTR)! Participating on the Public Test Realms lets you test patches before it has been released on live realms. If you'd like to help test and provide feedback, you can start by copying your character and downloading the PTR client. Once you've had a chance to try things out, visit our PTR Discussion forum to discuss the patch. To report any issues or errors, use the in-game Submit Bug feature (found under Game Menu -> Help -> Submit a Bug) or by visiting the PTR Bug Report forum."

Players can view a complete list of Patch 6.1 additions on WOWhead.com or on the official "World of Warcraft" blog.
