This is where fashion meets technology, or we can just say, pretty meets nerdy. eBay and the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) have enlisted the help of five acclaimed American designers to create a new collection of bracelets that also function as USB smart phone chargers.

We all tend to freak out when we see the one last bar remaining of the battery life and don't have the phone charger on us; all that tweeting, instagramming and websurfing can easily drain the phone battery. The 'Holiday Collective' range of bracelets provides rather a fashionable solution from freaking out at a flick of the wrist.

The USB designer bracelets are almost the replicas of multicolored old-school snap-bands from back in the 90s. These remarkable creations have a USB connector and a micro USB at each end of the bracelets, and they come with the adaptors that make them compatible with iPhones.

The five well-known CFDA designers Rachel Zoe, Mara Hoffman, Michael Bastian, Shipley & Halmos and Milly each have created their own unique limited-edition design for the fashionable smart gadgets. Some of the prints that were featured in the bracelets include Rachel Zoe's chic leopard print, Shipley & Halmos' modern geographic pattern and Mara Hoffman's cartoon-ish drawing of crescent moon and tiger. Each design also has the name of designer across the bracelets.

The Holiday Collective USB bracelets will be available on eBay starting from November 11, and each will cost $25 with all proceeds going to the CFDA.
