When the much talked about Samsung Galaxy S5 was rumored to have a 16-megapixel OIS camera, more news spread that all of the Korean tech giant's premium phones will also have the same camera spec by 2014.

According to sources like Phonearena and IBTimes, the Note 4 is the next rumored phone to have this camera upgrade right along the Galaxy S5. Sony is one of the targeted suppliers for this camera feature since it has been the provider of various modern camera sensors for other leading handsets like the iPhone 5S, the LG G2, Note 3 and even the Nexus 5.

Phonearena also wrote that there were reports that say Samsung has placed an order for about 181 million 16MP modules but the supplier was not specified whether it is Sony or the LSI division of Samsung.

Much earlier Samsung Galaxy S5 rumor reports say that it will have the 64-bit Exynos processor as something to match the A7 chip of the latest iPhone. Other rumored specs include the 4GB RAM, a Design 3.0 of metallic chassis, and a fingerprint scanner too. As for the rumored release date, IBTimes mentioned that majority of the reports say it will be introduced by January 2014 and launched on the succeeding month.

SamMobile added that since it has been noticed that each Galaxy Note model comes with the same camera specs that the Galaxy S models had in the past, then it is most likely that similar camera rumors can prove true for both the Note 4 and the Galaxy S5.

But will all these modern features that are rumored for the Galaxy S5 matter if there are other rumors which say that Samsung is set to focus more on their tablet products by next year instead of their handset offerings? Will you buy the Samsung Galaxy S5 next year?
