Thalia may be making a return to telenovelas. Only this time it won't be as a leading lady.

The Mexican actress and singer known for her roles in "María la del Barrio," "Marimar" and "María Mercedes" may be joining forces with Ricky Martin to collaborate on the theme song for upcoming telenovela "Quiero Odiarte, Pero Te Amo," according to TV Notas. The two are reportedly currently in talks.

Thalia and Martin recently lent their voices to the Spanish version of the "Minions" movie.

"Quiero Odiarte, Pero Te Amo," a Salvador Mejía-produced show, will star Ana Brenda Contreras and Ivan Sanchez and is supposed to start shooting on Feb. 15 in San Luis Potosi.

Although Mejía is really hoping for a smash with his latest telenovela, viewers will have to wait a little longer than expected. "Hasta El Fin Del Mundo" was supposed to end in January, but it is being extended because "Quiero Odiarte, Pero Te Amo" would not be ready in time, according to TV y Novelas.

Contreras may have a lot to juggle this year. The star of the show recently said she would like to go back into music in 2015.

"I'm in meetings this week to come back with everything," she said, according to TV Notas. "I am meeting with some producers... But it's complicated. Many people don't know that I started in music in a reality show when I was 15 years old. I would love to [take it on once again] and I don't want to leave it by the wayside."

Contreras is also talking to composers. Although she likes to write, she does not consider herself an expert.

"I am talking to people who know how to capture my ideas, my life and my experiences and put them into song."
