The Cleveland Cavaliers are starting to get into the groove this season, but reports indicated the Cavs will still be very active on the trade front until the deadline on Feb. 19.

According to Jason Lloyd of the Akron Beacon Journal, the Cavaliers will look to add a backup point guard or another big man before the trade deadline. Sources added they are also eyeing free agents to fill their needs but will focus on striking trade deals until the deadline passes.

The Cavaliers, who have won in 13 of their last 14 games, are reportedly eyeing Jameer Nelson of the Denver Nuggets, Mo Williams of the Minnesota Timberwolves and Miles Plumlee of the Phoenix Suns.

Nelson, who has already been traded twice this season, is reportedly on the Cavaliers' radar and is the most realistic option for Cleveland. Lloyd pointed out Nelson fits the needs of the Cavaliers, and striking a trade to acquire the veteran point guard is easier compared to their other options.

Cavaliers general manager David Griffin is reportedly close to Nuggets GM Connelly. The two general managers agreed to a trade that sent hulking center Timofey Mozgov to Cleveland in exchange for two protected first-round picks.

Veteran playmaker Mo Williams is also on trading block and is expected to get attention from playoff teams before the deadline because of his attractive contract. The 32-year-old point guard is playing in the final year of his deal worth $3.8 million.

Williams, who is averaging 12.4 points to go along with 6.4 assists and 2.4 rebounds per game this season, also has connection with the team, having played alongside LeBron James for two seasons in Cleveland in 2008-09 and 2009-10 NBA seasons before the four-time Most Valuable Player left to play in Miami.

The Cavaliers could offer Brandon Haywood's $10.5 million expiring contract along with Matthew Dellavedova to Minnesota, but Lloyd added that it is still unclear at this point what assets the Timberwolves are looking for in exchange for the 12-year veteran.

On the other hand, the Cavaliers are also interested in Miles Plumlee, who they targeted last month before acquiring Mozgov from the Nuggets. However, the Suns are reportedly asking for costly assets for the 26-year-old center, who is averaging 4.3 points and 4.9 rebounds in 18.5 minutes per game this season.
