Dubbed the world's oldest working supermodel, Carmen Dell'Orefice made the cover of New You magazine for its collector's edition.

After posing for Salvador Dali at age 13 and making her first Vogue cover appearance at age 15, Dell'Orefice's modeling career spanned for nearly 70 years, CNN reports.

New You's magazine cover celebrates the supermodel's beauty and longevity in the modeling industry. The 5-foot-9 model told New You magazine she has worked more in the past 25 years in her career than she has ever before.

"I had a very respectable career, but I didn't have a specific look," she said. "I was a chameleon.

"Fortunately, there was always somebody who knew I was good when I showed up, was responsible, not temperamental, and could do the job well," Dell'Orefice said. "Today I am in a territory that business considers unmarketable: age and white hair. Slowly, however, I started to own that territory little by little because I stood up for age."

New You magazine targets women ages 35 and older.

"Carmen is the embodiment of being able to do anything you want no matter what age you are," said Ruchel Louis Coetzee, co-executive editor of New You. "She defies age."

It makes sense for a magazine to target older women in a world where people are living longer, according to CNN. A woman turning 65 could expect to live until the age 86.

Other aged working models include 69-year-old Oscar winner Helen Mirren and 56-year-old longtime model Lesley "Twiggy" Lawson, who are both modeling for L'Oreal.

Dell'Orefice previously made the cover of New You magazine for its spring 2014 issue, Yahoo! Beauty reports.

New You calls the octogenarian, "Good old-fashioned fortitude, minus any trace of diva, is her nature."

Dell'Orefice survived a tough childhood, financial struggles and three marriages.
