Even after 18 years of marriage, Will Smith admits he and actress wife Jada Pinkett Smith still sometimes struggle with trying to find the right balance between work and home life in their Hollywood lifestyle.

According to Hollywood Life, Smith said the couple occasionally finds themselves trying to strike the right chord when one of the Hollywood A-listers is in "work mode" while the other remains in "chill mode."

"You know that is really interesting," Smith told the website. "Jada and I have a struggle with that a little bit because the thing is one person is in work mode while the other is in chill mode.

"Then it's like, you both are trying to come up, and it is something that will happen in time and you will realize that you are committed in having a relationship or you are really committed to work, and at some point one or the other will have to suffer."

The former "THe Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" star is now starring in the movie "Focus," for which he and Pinkett Smith recently appeared side-by-side for the premiere.

Despite their heavy work load, Smith has recently found the time to at least dabble in the area of one of his other first loves. He recently told reporters he has been in the studio with Kanye West and is seriously considering releasing his first original music track in what seems like forever.

Earlier this month while appearing on an episode of the Ellen DeGeneres Show, he belted out a few bars from the theme song of his Bel-Air show and days before that rapped "Gettin' Jiggy Wit It" while appearing on "The Late Show."

During a Feb. 5 episode of "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," Smith also rapped Rob Base and DJ E-Z Rock's hit "It Takes Two." Check it out in the video below.
