Ariana Grande has snared the seal of approval from Big Sean's mom.

According to TMZ.com, Big Sean's mom talked about seeing Grande the night before. She spoke with a smile on her face, but Big Sean tried to stop the interview. She ends up calling Grande "fabulous" and Big Sean said his mother "spilled the beans."

The happy and often publicly affectionate couple have not said how long they have been dating, but in October 2014, they finally admitted to being a couple, notes Us Weekly

"He is one of the most amazing men in the whole world, and that includes my grandfather and my brother," the 21-year-old "Break Free" singer recently said, according to Us Weekly. "I think the world of him, and he's an amazing person. That's kind of all there is to it."

Before taking their relationship public, the two were rumored to be an item as far back as August 2014, after they recorded the song "Best Mistake" together. "[We] make a lot of music together and the chemistry between me and her when we work is great," Sean previously said. "We've been friends for years before anything else."

Big Sean previously dated "Glee" actress Naya Rivera, and the two were engaged before calling things off after six months. The 27-year-old Rivera has since married model and actor Ryan Dorsey. Not long before taking up with Sean, Grande split with longtime boyfriend Jai Brook.

"Sean asked Ariana out in a romantic way and they went to the movies," added the source. "Now it's gotten serious very fast. They are much happier than in their previous relationships."

Back last August, the happy couple was spotted kissing while at a movie in Los Angeles. Reportedly, the two also left together before the film was over.
