Although convicted killer Jodi Arias has spent the last six years of her life behind bars for the 2008 murder of her ex-boyfriend, she has still been able to maintain contact with the public through video chats.

New reports reveal that Arias – who avoided the death penalty after her sentencing trial resulted in a hung jury last week – has been conducting illegal video chats with fans, including a pair of teenage girls. As a result, Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio has placed a limit on her access to video conferences.

Along with the two 15-year-old girls from Ohio, Arpaio says that Arias has also been chatting with a man from Greece. In addition, she spent nine hours over the past weekend talking to 27 of her fans via video conference, reports ABC News.

According to Arpaio, Arias coaxed the teens into lying about their age in order to speak to her at the Maricopa County Jail in Arizona. Once she discovered that the girls were minors, Arias told them to steal an older person's identification so that they could call back again, said the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office.

"In her thirst for adoration and attention, Arias is willing to corrupt these young girls, all to satisfy her own narcissism. That needs to stop," Arpaio said in a news release, reports AZFamily.com.

Sheriff Arpaio also noted that some of her visitors created fake online IDs to stay under the radar and talk with the notorious boyfriend killer. In other cases, the visitors illegally took pictures with their cellphones and then shared the pics online.

"Right now, I'm banning the visitors," said Arpaio, adding that he may have to ban her from the service moving forward.

As of now, he has banned 10 of Arias' regular visitors, starting on Tuesday.

Her video visitor from Greece, who Arpaio says used a false ID to gain access to her, has been banned, along with a convicted felon who beat the system by using another person's name.
