Eminem's The Marshall Mathers LP 2 may not be receiving a Grammy this year, but Eminem has still managed to make his mark on the award show.

The Marshall Mathers LP 2 is not eligible to receive an award at this year's Grammy Awards. Material had to be released by Sept. 30 in order to be considered for a Grammy. The Marshall Mathers LP 2 was not released until Nov. 5.

One of Eminem's newest songs, however, did make the cut. The platinum-selling "Berzerk," which was the first single released from Slim Shady's album, was released in time and is nominated for Best Rap Performance. "Berzerk" has tough competition. Drake's "Started From The Bottom," Jay-Z's "Tom Ford," Kendrick Lamar's "Swimming Pools (Drank)" and the Macklemore & Ryan Lewis featuring Wanz song "Thrift Shop" are also nominees.

Still, Eminem's chances are looking pretty good; The Grammy Awards seem to be a fan of "Berzerk." The song was chosen to play in the 56th Grammy Awards commercial, titled "Music Unleashes Us: Anthem."

The Marshall Mathers LP 2 will be eligible for a Grammy Award in 2015. The rapper can use his new Limited Edition G-Shock watch to count the minutes until his eighth studio album is considered. The GDX6900MNM-1, which was made to help G-Shock celebrate its 30th anniversary, has a splash of Marshall Mathers. The rugged black digital watch features Eminem's backwards "E" logo proudly displayed front and center on the watch's face, as well as on the band loop. In addition, a "Shady" autograph is etched on the back of the watch's face and its lower band. Eminem's home city of Detroit is represented in a red skyline visible on the watch's upper band.

The 56th Grammy Awards will air on Sunday, Jan. 26 at 8/7c on CBS.
