Bruce Jenner reportedly announced to his family on "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" earlier this year that he plans to live his life as a woman. Since then, the gold medalist has moved swiftly ahead with his plans to start the process.

Roughly two weeks ago, the former Olympian allegedly underwent breast implant surgery, which has upset his ex-wife Kris Jenner who is refusing to discuss it with anyone, including her family, reports Radar Online.

Bruce chose silicone breast implants of a small-to-average size "because he didn't want to look ridiculous," a source close to Bruce told Radar Online.

"The procedure was done two weeks ago, and Kris knew it was happening," a source told Radar.

Despite the advanced notice from Bruce about the breast implants, Kris is not handling the situation well.

"She is refusing to talk to any of the kids about it," the source alleged. "For Kris, it's just extremely humiliating that Bruce is doing this, and she is taking it very personally."

Bruce reportedly underwent a series of minor feminization procedures before the supposed March breast implant surgery, including a nose job to have more feminine facial features and having his Adam's apple shaved down.

He also has had hormonal gender reassignment (hormone therapy), which came to light during the police investigation into his Feb. 7 car accident that resulted in one woman's death.

The "full gender reassignment surgery" will happen in May or June, according to the source. Later, he may undergo another breast augmentation to achieve a larger cup size, the source added.

Page Six reported in early March that sources close to Bruce said he is seeing a therapist, which is a mandatory part of any sex change. It is important for patients to have a therapist who can guide them through the complex process of transition, and help with depression and stabilizing relationships with family and friends.

"The therapy was required by the doctor that will be performing Bruce's sex change operation," the source alleged to Page Six. "And it has helped Bruce tremendously."

Kris and Bruce, who were married for 22 years, announced in 2013 they were splitting. Their divorce was finalized in June 2014.
