Kanye West just can't get enough love. The rapper's ego is as big as ever these days, but the recognition doesn't seem to match. West's newest complaint about his unrecognized greatness goes to the 56th Annual Grammy Awards. Apparently the Yeezus rapper did not get enough nominations.

Yesterday, Dec. 10, West made a stop in Phoenix, Ariz. for his Yeezus tour. Footage from the show was uploaded onto Instagram. West wore what E! Online says is a Maison Martin Margiela-created mask, and what from far away looks like some type of a poncho made out potato sack-like material. While on stage, West took a moment to complain about the Grammy Awards' nominees list.

"And Yeezus is the top one or two album on every single list, but only gets two nominations from the Grammys," he said. "What are they trying to say?"

West has been nominated for Best Rap Album and Best Rap Song for "New Slaves." His competitors for Best Rap Album are Drake's Nothing Was The Same, Jay-Z's Magna Carta...Holy Grail, Kendrick Lamar's Good Kid, M.A.D.D. City and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' The Heist. Meanwhile, "New Slaves" will win a Grammy if it can outshine A$AP Rocky's collaboration "Fuckin' Problems," Jay-Z featuring Justin Timberlake's "Holy Grail," Drake's "Started from the Bottom" and the Macklemore & Ryan Lewis featuring Wanz song, "Thrift Shop."

Higly coveted nominations like Record of the Year skipped over West and went to Daft Punk and Pharrell Williams, Imagine Dragons, Lorde, Bruno Mars and Robin Thicke featuring T.I. and Pharrell. Meanwhile Album of the Year nominations went to Sara Bareilles, Daft Punk, Kendrick Lamar, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and Taylor Swift.

If West doesn't win one of his two categories, he is sure to publicly complain. The only question is whether it will be at one his own shows, or during someone else's acceptance speech.
