For the 3rd time, Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler are teaming up for the new Rom-Com flick Blended which is scheduled to hit theaters May 23, 2014.

Blended centers on a couple who wants nothing to do with each other after a disastrous blind date. The single parents then realize that they have signed up separately for the same plush African safari family resort and get stuck sharing a suite. Given the comedic prowess of Sandler (Jim) and Barrymore (Lauren), this will be a feel good, hilarious comedy.

The lead co-stars will be supported by a strong cast which will include the likes of Terry Crews, Kevin Nealon, Joel McHale and Wendi McLendon-Covey, who will have you rolling in laugher under the tutelage of Director Frank Coraci. The movie will also feature Disney star Bella Thorne in her film debut.

Prior to the announcement of the release of the movie, the Warner Bros. studio has been going back and forth with the official movie name. It began with Blended as the film's initial

title and was changed to "Familymoon" and the final decision is to revert back to Blended. It is unclear why the changes on the name but an insider has shared that Warner Bros. is very optimistic given the past success of the two starts together.

Previous collaborations of the Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore include the hit comedy 50 First Dates in 2004 and the Wedding Singer in 1998. Unlike the storyline of 50 First Dates, after their first date in Blended, chances for a 2nd date were non-existent. Viewers will be able to see the couple in action as they maneuver the chaos that will surely take place during the numerous wild safari adventures in the African Savanna.
