Clothing company Ted Baker recently sent out a press release featuring a noticeably retouched photo of "All About That Bass" singer Meghan Trainor, Yahoo! Beauty reports.

According to Yahoo! Beauty, fashion brands like Ted Baker often send out press releases with photos of celebrities wearing their garments in order to promote their brand.

However, when Yahoo! Beauty received Ted Baker's press release of Trainor sporting Ted Baker's Rancid skirt, the publication also noticed that Ted Baker retouched Tranior's photo to make her appear skinnier.

"[Ted Baker's] email included two images of the star taken from Getty Images stock photo agency (as evidenced by the watermarks) that were altered and stretched out," Yahoo! Beauty's Joanna Douglas wrote.

She added, "As a result, Trainor's face, hips, and waist were whittled down. Yahoo Beauty located the exact original images of Trainor from the photo agency and placed them side by side so you can see the alterations."

After Yahoo! Beauty commented on Trainor's retouched photo, a representative from Ted Baker reached out to Yahoo! Style to apologize for the apparent retouching.

"Our LA based agency, BWR, did not Photoshop or intentionally alter images in any way," a Ted Baker representative told Yahoo! Style. "We are absolutely mortified by this story as we hold our relationship with Trainor in high regard and we are thrilled that she is a loyal fan of Ted Baker."

According to Entertainment Tonight, Trainor's photo was taken on Saturday, May 9 while she attended 102.7 KIIS FM's Wango Tango concert in Los Angeles.

So far, Trainor has yet to publicly respond to the photoshopping accusations. However in a past interview with MTV, Trainor said that she embraces her curves despite the media scrutiny.

"I love my curves and I was still scared. It's still scary going out there getting your picture taken all the time, but I've actually gotten a lot better with it," Trainor said.

When asked to give advice to those who struggle with embracing their curves, Trainor ensured her fans that "it gets better" and they will feel more confident about themselves as they get older.
