Former Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh is selling his Michigan home just after getting a prized slot with the Miami Dolphins.

Suh, who signed a six-year deal worth $114 million with the Dolphins, will be embarking on a new journey after playing with the Lions for five years. As part of the move, Suh has listed his Michigan home on the market for $3.45 million, reports Realtor.com.

The Birmingham home of the Portland native player is Colonial-inspired yet its architectural details exude modern vibe. Presence of marble flooring, recessed ceiling, warm wood materials and glass in the right places gives the home its current look.

As Realtor.com describes, the property could be considered as an athlete's dream home. The Suh residence includes a sport court, a fitness room and an outdoor basketball hoop for a friendly competition or just a personal training time.

But the best part of the house is probably the massage room in the basement, which could offer a relaxing treat to complete a very busy professional athlete's day. The part of the house also has an entertainment room, equipped with a full bar and a spacious sitting area.

The new Dolphin's suburban home contains five bedrooms, an entertainment space, dining room, master bedroom and a modern kitchen. Suh's master bedroom boasts a huge tub, frosted-glass adorned closets, light-filled ambiance and an access to a patio.

Leaving Michigan

Since Suh signed his six-year contract in March as a Dolphin, as ESPN reported, bidding goodbye to his Michigan home probably won't hurt so much. With his $114 million contract that comes with a $60 million guaranteed salary, Suh became the highest-paid defensive player in NFL history.

The Miami Dolphins and the Pepsi Rookie of the Year Awardee in 2010 can't wait to start the new season together.

"Today's going to be a great day, and there's many more to come after that," Suh told ESPN in March.

Suh also responded with confidence when he was asked how he would handle the pressure that came with the enormous contract from the Dolphins.

"I'm excited about the pressure. I don't necessarily look at it as pressure. I'm looking at it as doing something I'm built for," he said.

Suh should be house hunting in Miami. Perhaps, he can check out Lebron James' Coconut Grove, Florida, property as Realtor.com suggested?
