iTunes Presents Robert Rodriguez.

On Tuesday, El Rey Network announced that maverick filmmaker Robert Rodriguez's interview series, "El Rey Network Presents: The Director's Chair," featuring "candid and insightful one-on-one interviews between Rodriguez and some of cinema's most iconic filmmakers," is now available on iTunes. 

The hour-long series allows for aspiring filmmakers and fans alike to get the inside scoop on filmmaking, casting and directing from some of the most notable directors. The series also shows a different side of the industry and the evolution of filmmaking before there was CGI, etc.

Which episodes will be available on iTunes?

iTunes will offer previously-aired episodes featuring Quentin Tarantino Volumes 1 & 2 ("Kill Bill," "Pulp Fiction," "From Dusk Till Dawn"), John Carpenter ("Halloween," "Escape from L.A.," "They Live") Guillermo del Toro ("Pan's Labyrinth," "Hellboy," "The Strain"), Francis Ford Coppola ("The Godfather," "The Conversation," "Apocalypse Now"); and "The Father of Chicano Theater," Luis Valdez ("La Bamba," "Zoot Suit"), whom Latin Post exclusively interviewed in conjunction with the episode.

The upcoming, all-new installment will feature filmmaker Robert Zemeckis ("Back to the Future," "Who Framed Roger Rabbit," "Forrest Gump," and "Tales from the Crypt") will be available exclusively on iTunes two weeks prior to its on-air premiere, currently set for May 31 at 8:00 p.m. ET on El Rey Network. All subsequent episodes will be available day after air, on iTunes and other digital platforms.

Zemeckis has also been a master at special effects and CGI early in the game with "Death Becomes Her" (1992) and "Contact" (1997), and performance motion capture animation in "The Polar Express" (2004), "Beowulf" (2007) and "A Christmas Carol" (2009).
