Johnny Depp has been under a lot of fire lately, which started since he returned from the United States to continue filming “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.” Then, he had to take a few weeks off to allow his injured hand to fully recuperate.

Now, Depp is making headlines again after he supposedly abandoned the set on Wednesday and “no one knew where he was.”

According to Gold Coast Bulletin sources, Depp stormed off the set and was focused on saving his marriage. The report stated that he was going to fly back to the United States to go after his wife.

However, Michael Singer, Depp’s publicist, has denied all claims and called the reports “completely false.”

“Filming continues as scheduled,” Singer said, according to Gold Coast Bulletin. “He remains in Australia.”

Although it may be true that Depp was MIA for a while, sources have claimed that he never left the country.

“He eventually came back and continued filming,” a source told News.com.au. “But no one had any idea where he was or why he left.”

Amber Heard, Depp’s wife, also got some backlash from the Australian government for bringing into the country two Yorkshire terriers that were not declared. Ray Hadley, a commercial radio broadcaster in Sydney, asked the immigration minister, Peter Dutton, on how the celebrity couple’s dogs were able to enter the country without proper documentation -- a clear breach of quarantine and customs.

“You need to give me another week or so, Ray,” Dutton told Hadley, according to The Guardian. “It is still under investigation. We are still asking those questions. This matter is ongoing, as the police would tell you. It is being investigated. Handbags are being searched. No rock or backpack is being left unturned.”

Furthermore, Heard was also reportedly sent back to the U.S., along with their dogs, after the filmmakers of “Pirates of the Caribbean 5” banned her from the set. Apparently, everyone had thought that “enough was enough” and their production kept on getting delayed due to the couple’s constant fighting.

“Producers politely asked Johnny to send Amber home as soon as possible,” an insider revealed. “Right now, everyone’s primary focus should be wrapping up this film. He did not want to upset her. So, he gently explained the situation and she understood.”
