The Green Bay Packers and San Francisco 49ers are squaring off in the final -- and coldest -- game of Wild Card Weekend.

The Packers more or less backed into the playoffs after a mediocre second half when the team lost starting quarterback Aaron Rodgers. The star quarterback returned, however, for the final game of the season and the Packers knocked off the Bears to clinch the NFC North.

Green Bay is in the midst of such an odd year -- now that Rodgers has returned yet the team finished with a poor record -- that the organization initially struggled to sell out its tickets for the weekend's game. It doesn't help that the temperature at kickoff is expected to hover around zero degrees Fahrenheit.

To make things even more interesting, the 49ers will have to deal with the frigid conditions of Lambeau Field despite winning four more games this season than Green Bay did. San Francisco even had a chance to clinch home field advantage in the NFC last week during the regular season finale, but they had to settle as a wild card.

San Francisco would love to start early on defense against Aaron Rodgers, who is still warming up to the season. The former Super Bowl MVP said he feels ready nevertheless.

"My arm felt good. Mentally, I felt good," Rodgers said via the radio. "I prepared hard all week, but there's always going to be some sort of re-indoctrination period, if you will. It was kind of like the preseason for me."
