The New Year brings another moment of grieving as Disick loses another family. The reality star had just lost his mother a few months back but will now have to deal with losing his father as well.

Scott's father, Jeffrey Disick has died Friday in Los Angeles, E!'s unnamed source confirms. No other details regarding his passing have been released to the media yet.

The 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star lost his 63-year old mother, Bonnie Disick, to a long-term illness a few months back. Hollywood Life reports that Scott and Kourtney had to fly to New York from Los Angeles to attend the small funeral.

Disick was reportedly last seen with wife Kourtney Kardashian in Park City, Utah with the whole clan for the holiday season. He tweeted a link to a video of his wife and her sister, Kim - having a go in the ski resort.

The 30-year old star has since been inactive on his Twitter account. He has also remained silent with the media regarding his father's passing.

However, Scott has previously expressed his thoughts on being around people who are dying, on the current season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

"You know I'm not good about talking about death, I don't know that I want to be around someone who is dying."

Scott was granting a request from Josie, a cancer patient, whose last wishes include having to meet him in person.

Seeing Josie confront her illness really made me think about my dad - who suffers from diabetes and needs a heart replacement - I really don't talk about it because it's so hard for me," he said.

With the revelation, diabetes could very well be one of the contributing factors to Jeffrey Disick's passing - as the illness is quite known to cause complications such as blindness, amputation, kidney failure and heart attack.
