"Downton Abbey" actors will not be able to keep props or costumes from their long-running TV series.

According to Penelope Wilson, who plays Isobel Crawley, the cast was banned from taking anything home. She said, "When it's over, it would have been nice to take a prop home with me from the set. But we've specifically been told we're not allowed to do that."

However, producers from the show have admitted that no such ban was ever placed. A spokesperson said, "The producers have not sent out a memo to cast and crew banning them from taking props. Whether anything has been said in person is a different matter and not something I could comment on."

While now ban has ever been revealed, it is speculated that actors were not allowed to take anything home after Lily James, who plays Lady Rose MacClare, tried to take some of the jewelry home. She said, "I always want to steal my jewelry from the set because it's so nice. It's fake, but it's good fake, so you can get away with wearing it. But I think they are on to me because there are a few things gone now."

"Downton Abbey" is finally ending after five years. The show has raked up a number of awards including various Golden Globes and SAG awards as well as EMMY awards. It has also pulled in record breaking numbers on television including pulling in an audience of 120 million in 220 countries.

The show even received the royal seal of approval when the Duchess of Cambridge visited its London studio.

Earlier this month, it was announced that the estate where "Downton Abbey" is filmed will be sold once the show is finished filming.

The sixth season is slated to air later this year on ITV in the U.K. and early 2016 on PBS in the U.S.
