Hot, leaked alleged iPhone 6 photos are instant viral things online for the past couple of days. The photo released by GizChina via C Technology shows a quick tease that the upcoming iPhone 6 will have a metal frame structure.

Airing News states that upon first look, the case seemed like it really belonged to the much talked about iPhone 6 for it looks larger than the current iPhone 5 and 5s. But when the view is taken a little bit closer, many trusted tech publications agree that there is a great chance it is just a fake leaked iPhone 6 photo.

On another of the website's published articles, they mentioned quick points on why they think the leaked photo is a fake. First, they noticed that the part looks like the midframe found in the previous models of the Apple iPhone. Second, they think it is not likely to happen for the jack of the headphone to be on the top edge of the device that the Chinese site is claiming to be the iPhone 6. With all the incongruence, the site stands firm on their view that it is just another part from several devices in the wide range of Asian supply chain being leaked online.

Business Insider thinks it is some random chunk of metal that someone took a picture of while MacRumors also states it is one bogus image.

On other news, ETNews recently reported that the upcoming Apple flagship phone will have the thickness measure of 6 millimeters, potentially making a record of being the thinnest ever in the tech market. The iPhone 5s is measured at 7.6 millimeters and the iPhone 5c at 8.97 millimeters.

IBTimes AU added that the Korea publication thinks that the September release date for the iPhone 6 is plausible.
