Photos of a new Samsung phone, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo, also known as the Galaxy Note 3, may have been leaked today.

SamMobile tweeted the alleged photo of the upcoming smartphone.

"Samsung GALAXY Note 3 Neo (SM-N750/5)," the tweet said with the picture of the device.

The tweet did not reveal much more information about the phone, but GSM Arena claims to know the specs of the upcoming smartphone. The website cites "a bunch of ... leaked internal product positioning documents," as their source.

"The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo looks to be more of a refresh to the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 rather than a dumbed-down version of the Note 3, as it features the Galaxy Note 2's 5.55" 720p Super AMOLED display, 8MP camera, and 3,100 mAh battery," GSM Arenas said. "Even the RAM and internal storage are the same at 2GB and 16GB, respectively."

The website also said that the phone will be powered by a 1.7GHz dual + 1.3GHz quad-core (Hexa) processor.

Today, SamMobile shared new "confirmed" news about the Galaxy Note 3 Neo.

"Confirmed: Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Lite/Neo (SM-N7505) packs @SamsungExynos 5260 SoC with LTE connectivity!," SamMobile said via Twitter.

Although the smartphone is expected to have a new processor, the Galaxy Note 3 Neo is rumored to have a familiar feel. GMS Arena reports that phone will feature the same faux leather casing that is seen on the Galaxy Note 3. Differing from the Galaxy Note 3, however, it will be slimmer, even slimmer than the Galaxy Note 2.

"Also included are all of the Smart Features from the Note 3 and S4, including Air command and Advanced Multi Window," GSM Arenas said.

Tech fans are hoping that Samsung will reveal more about the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo during Mobile World Congress 2014, which will be held in Barcelona from Feb. 24 through Feb. 27.
