St. Louis Cardinals shortstop Jhonny Peralta is ready to part with his Ohio home.

The 33-year-old baseball player is selling his Westlake property for $675,000, Realtor.com reported. The Cardinals' star player already left the Cleveland Indians after the 2010 season but he held on to the house even after he already went to another team, the Detroit Lions.

According to the property listing, the 4,875-square-foot home of the two-time All-Star player contains four bedrooms, four bathrooms and one half bath. The two-story home also includes a finished basement, a three-car garage, a patio, a security system and a sprinkler system. There is also a guest suite on the upper floor of the residence to make overnight visitors comfortable in their stay.

Interior details of the Country French home showcase smooth hardwood flooring, high ceilings, airy ambiance, naturally-lit living areas, ornate hanging lights and classic motif of white and brown.

Realtor.com also noted that the elegant residence features an open floor plan, a formal dining room and a study area.

Just by looking at the photos, the next owners will easily get idea on how to make the Peralta residence their own. The neutral colors used in constructing it can easily blend in modern furnishing or even traditional ones.

The Colonial residence also displays a great curb appeal with its clean and carefully-maintained front yard. Details like brick walls and triangular roof made from asphalt and fiberglass create a traditional appeal, but inside, everything is sleek and modern.

One of the most striking features of the Ohio home is the chef's kitchen. It is equipped with high-end appliances, a center island and a very large working area with granite countertops. Kitchen appliances included in the listing are a countertop range, a dishwasher, a microwave, an oven, and a refrigerator.

Inside the home, new owners will find a spacious master suite. Upon entry, a nicely-carpeted room with a view awaits visitors. The suite also includes a master bathroom equipped with a huge tub, double sinks, marble-lined vanity and lots of custom-made storage for personal accessories.

Outside, the property, resting on 0.36 acres of lot, speaks of tranquility with a calm pond nearby. The exquisite home is a steal for its less than $700,000 price. House hunters who need more details about the home may ask the agent who handles the listing, Patti Seghi of Howard Hanna Crocker Road.
