“Suicide Squad” filming is still ongoing and since fans are already clamoring to get the first dibs of the movie, set photos continue to leak onto the Internet.

The images and videos have somehow revealed key scenes. In fact a short clip posted on Instagram seemed to indicate a crossover with another upcoming DC blockbuster, “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice.”

Other photos have also given fans a sneak peek on how the film’s actors and actresses look like in full gear. But the set pictures that SuicideSquadHQ posted on Twitter recently confused a lot of DC fans.

The photos showed rapper Common in full biker gear, complete with a goatee, piercings, and facial tattoos – a cross on his cheek, tentacles of what seems to be an octopus on his scalp, an eye on his forehead, and a dragon on the top side of his head. With all the tattoos seen on his skin, speculations that he's portraying the Tattooed Man started to surface.

A huge percentage of the “Suicide Squad,” based on leaked set photos and the official cast photo, sport tattoos of some sort. This could only mean that the tattoos might not immediately indicate that Common is playing the Tattooed Man.

The Tattooed Man is actually a former U.S. Marine, whose real name is Mark Richards. Apart from his skills in combat, he also has the power to make his tattoos come to life, according to Comic Vine.

The “Selma” actor was actually initially assumed to be playing Black Manta, Aquaman’s archenemy. However, these recently leaked photos have indicated otherwise. The goatee and the tattoo seen on his forehead seemed to be a nod to the immortal sorcerer Doctor Mist, confusing fans even more. Plus, the fang accessory wrapped around his neck led to speculations that he could be portraying the Bronze Tiger, The Hollywood Reporter noted.

Another significant set photo that was leaked by the same tipster on Twitter showed Jared Leto. This time, instead of blurry captures and unclear images, the photos featured the 30 Seconds to Mars front man full on, with him looking straight at the camera.

He was wearing The Joker’s iconic purple bow dangling from his neck, a white shirt, black slacks, and saddle shoes that had purple laces. Leto looked terrifying, especially with what seemed to be a sneer as he looked straight into the lens, his complexion was extremely pale. He had dark red lipstick, smudged dark eye liner, scary teeth, blood-stained fingernails, and weird tattoos.

"Suicide Squad" will be released on August 5, 2016. Common's character should be revealed by then.
