Facebook continues to keep up with the times. In an attempt that makes the social networking site even more similar to its rival Twitter, Facebook will now have trending topics added to your news feed. You will now get to see what other users have been talking about while you took your usual 5-10 minute break from the addicting social sharing machine.

Users in the U.S., the U.K., India, Canada and Australia will start seeing the trending updates on the right side of the Facebook pages in coming weeks. The rest of the world will have to wait a little longer. The trending topics feature is not yet visible on the Facebook mobile apps but we're sure it will be in due time.

Your trending topics will also be tailored to the user's interests and location (I still think this is a bit creepy). Facebook is probably saying, "don't go on Twitter to know what's trending or Google it even, just go on FB." Are you one of those users that miss the simplicity of Facebook? Or do you enjoy the fact that Facebook keeps up with the times?

So now you not only get to share what you ate for breakfast on FB, but you also get to see what statuses are much more interesting than yours. The Golden Globes winners, Jennifer Lawrence's Little Mermaid dress or Tina Fey's Leonardo DiCaprio model vagina joke (that was my fav) are things that will trend. And now you just have to look right on your computer because we know you live on Facebook.

Are you working on your computer? No. Are you applying for Obama Care? No. Are you watching the movie Bling Ring? Pshh, no. Since Facebook knows that you are always on Facebook, it's trying to make news more convenient for you. So give your thanks and enjoy this new feature.

Who find the trending topics new feature on Facebook neat?
