Retired NBA player Allan Houston has decided to let go of his New York estate.

The former Knicks star's mansion, which he shares with his wife, Tamara, is on the market for $19.9 million, The Wall Street Journal reported. The expansive home was reportedly built according to Houston's preference in 2006, a year after he retired from professional basketball.

The listing of the property is currently handled by Brian Milton of Houlihan Lawrence and co-listing agent, Ellen Mosher.

The 9,300-square-foot home that includes seven bedrooms, 10 full bathrooms and two half baths is located in a highly-secured neighborhood, Milton told the Journal.

Other living spaces inside the French-designed home resting on more than 10 acres of Westchester land are rooms showcasing the 44-year-old Knicks assistant manager's love for his chosen sport like an indoor basketball court and a trophy room that displays his achievements.

Fitness buffs who do not want to miss a single workout session will find great use of the gym.

If the next owners are not that sports-minded, the placid views of the Converse Lake the home offers are enough to complete the day.

Family members may enjoy several bonding activities as well, like swimming in the pool or playing on the putting green in the golf course area.

Based on the photos provided by the Journal, an aerial view of the home shows an almost castle-like residence befitting kings and queens, made more captivating by the thick foliage of mature trees.

Inside, the home has intricate furnishing adorning the residence. Notable interior accents include ornate-looking and grand chandeliers, dark hardwood flooring, extensive use of carpeting in the house, and classic-looking wallpaper installation.

The luxury home also features a home theater, a recreation room, a master suite with his-and-hers walk-in closets, a lavish master bedroom bathroom, and a spacious gourmet-type kitchen.
