It seems like it was just yesterday when one of the most entertaining parts about getting a new video game would be the cheats. On the older generation platforms -- particularly the ones prior to PS3 and Xbox 360 -- it seemed as if a majority of games had cheats to keep you entertained throughout.

These days, it doesn't seem as if there are as many cheats but one constant has been the Grand Theft Auto series. As long as GTA is around, Rockstar Games will be sure to continue the tradition.

With all of this being said, why not try out some new Grand Theft Auto 5 cheats while you wait for the PC or next-gen version of the game to be released?

The Grand Theft Auto series has always been popular for its fun and entertaining cheats -- from escaping the police to becoming invincible -- and the latest game in the series has just as many new cheats for you to try out.

Always keep in mind that these cheats are reserved for when you are not in the middle of a mission. Although it seems tempting to use these cheats to help you get through a difficult mission, it won't even work. Simply put, you have to use the cheats when you are not in the middle of a mission.
