Super Bowl 2014 Weather & Commercials: Matrix's Morpheus Now Just a Car Sales Man; Watch Kia's Awesome Ad Here

Morpheus has returned to awaken unsuspecting people from the false reality that they are living in. But he's not here to make you choose between the red pill and the blue pill, but instead, between a blue key and a red key. Confused? Don't be. Morpheus is just trying to sell cars for Kia.

MTV News reports Laurence Fishburne reprises his role as The One's mentor, Morpheus, from "The Matrix" trilogy in a commercial from Kia. Click here to watch.

The television ad, which was given a Super Bowl spot, emphasizes how luxurious the K900 is as compared to other cars in the market, according to Morpheus.

And to symbolize the luxuriousness of the vehicle, he sings in an operatic style while riding in the back seat. I have no idea how that helps promote the car but he's Morpheus, so...we're just going to have to accept that.

Plus, the ad's got elements you loved (or have probably forgotten) from "The Matrix" films: a spoon bending, cars flying, agents hearing about a disturbance in the Matrix through their earpieces, and random explosions.

Morpheus is not the first character to crossover from The Matrix to the land of TV advertisements. Multiple Agent Smiths, all played by Hugo Weaving, showed up in a GE commercial to tell the world how the company's technology is improving the quality of hospital service.

Powerade used a bad impersonation of Agent Smith in an apparently low-budget commercial about the benefits of drinking the beverage.

Morpheus and Trinity, both played by unknown actors, also appeared in a Japanese commercial. Although the concept of the ad is hard to understand because it's in Japanese, it basically involves an old man buying a pair of sunglasses and meeting up with the two characters then dodging a flying tray filled with Japanese food. It doesn't make sense but then again, Japanese commercials aren't really known for their logic.
