"Devious Maids," the Lifetime series that focuses on a close-knit group of maids," is a continuous source of intrigue and drama. While the season is already half over, there are still plenty of surprises ahead, even after the surprising murder of newcomer Blanca.

During "The Turning Point," Zolia calls Genevieve requesting that she comes home and get rid of Reina. However, Genevieve hires Reina on as her personal assistance after learning that Zoila has been complaining about her while she was away. However, things take another turn when Genevieve returns home after a dinner date with Zolia to find a naked man and a near-naked Reina wearing Genevieve's fur coat. Promptly, Genevieve fires Reina, leading Reina to threaten Zolia with promise of vengeance.

Meanwhile, Rosie leaves Spence in favor of a fresh start with Ernesto. After going out on a date, the star-crossed lovers have sex for the first time in years. Later, Rosie plays a Mexican game with Katy and notices that Katy already knows how to play the game well. Quickly, Rosie learns that Katy isn't from Argentina, she's from Mexico. As an act of kindness, Katy gives Rosie a gift, Blanca's necklace.

Blanca is being held captive in a basement, but somehow manages to escape the basement while her kidnapper is away. Above ground, she finds a shrine dedicated to Louie Berker's murder, along with newspaper clippings about the murder plastered on the wall. Unfortunately, she doesn't make it far before she's recaptured.

Marisol, who's been dating her maid Jesse, finds herself on the nasty end of the rumor mill as Gail tells one of her friends that she pays Jesse for sex and service -- leading the woman to believe that Marisol is a pimp.

The episode's biggest reveal, however, is when Sebastian and Evelyn find Blanca's dead, dangling body with the words "FORGIVE ME" written in red on the floor below her.

Episode 8, "Cries and Whispers," features Carmen getting creative after she's noticed by a talent scout and signs an agency deal with Sebastian's wife, Jacklyn Dussault. Also, Marisol discovers a new side of Jesse, and Rosie and Ernesto disagree about her working in the Stappord home, following the aftermath of the police's latest discovery.

"Bad Girl," airing July 27, will focus on Evelyn, who'll have a big surprise awaiting husband Adrian upon his return from the hospital. Also, Sebastian will encourage Carmen to form a functional relationship with Jacklyn. Marisol will learn surprising details about Jesse's past acquaintances, and when Ernesto leaves town, Rosie will find herself in Spence's company when seeking parental help with Miguel.
