Amazon Prime has been seen by many as the main competitor to Netflix in the online streaming market. Just Like Netflix, they also produce their own content and provide their subscribers with licensed content for movies and TV shows that are on popular cable networks.

But according to Netflix Life, Amazon's new arrivals for August are going to have something that Netflix does not have any access to: HBO content.

Amazon Prime has worked out an exclusive deal with HBO to feature their vast library of content, minus their new shows and new seasons of their veteran shows. This means there are also going to be some new arrivals this month from the premium cable giant.

Fans of HBO will pleased to know that seasons 1 to 8 of "Curb Your Enthusiasm" will be made available next month. The show, which follows the fictional exploits of "Seinfeld" creator Larry David and several other people playing fictional versions of themselves, has gained a wide following.

Here is what else is coming next month to Amazon:

For those who want the more exclusive access to HBO's newest features, you will have to sign up for HBOGO. This service allows you to stream all of your favorite HBO movies, series and specials via the web, and you can get access to it without a cable subscription.

A few shows that would be available through HBOGO but not on Amazon are "Game of Thrones," "Ballers," "Girls" and "The Brink."
