Mariah Carey, Justin Bieber and French Montana are all rumored to be working on a new song that could soon be blasting on airwaves near you.

According to TMZ, Carey and French were already working on takes for the new project together in a Hollywood studio when Bieber suddenly appeared. Bieber apparently "jumped into a booth and laid down some vocals that'll be featured in the song."

Bieber later confessed to Carey that he's a major fan of her music. He simply couldn't turn down any opportunity to work with her. The two previously worked together on the remake of her 2011 "All I Want For Christmas Is You" single on her "Under The Mistletoe" album.

Over the span of a 25-year, Grammy Award-winning career, the 45-year-old Carey has worked with such industry heavyweights as Whitney Houston, Jay Z, Snoop Dogg, Missy Elliott, Nicki Minaj, Nas and Busta Rhymes.

It's an eventful time for Carey. Earlier this month, The Daily Mail also reported that the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce announced she will soon be feted with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Guest speakers at the unveiling of Carey's star will include Lee Daniels, Brett Ratner, and Epic Records CEO L.A. Reid.

Meanwhile, she is rumored to be in the throes of a whirlwind romance with Australian billionaire businessman James Packer. Only publicly dating for a few weeks, Carey and Packer are reportedly so romantically enthralled with each other that the two are already discussing marriage plans. Currently in the midst of finalizing her divorce from estranged husband Nick Cannon, Carey is also rumored to be considering  moving abroad with Packer, taking her and Cannon's twin four-year-olds along with her.
