Junior welterweight champion Danny Garcia just defeated former champion Paulie "The Magic Man" Malignaggi in the ninth round of their match in New York on Saturday, but he's already thinking of a possible showdown with Keith Thurman and Shawn Porter soon.

The World Boxing Council and World Boxing Association junior welterweight title holder is ready to face these two great fighters any time, as long as his manager, Al Haymon, gives a go signal.

Haymon also serves as the manager for Thurman and Porter and acts as an adviser for the world's highest paid athlete Floyd Mayweather Jr., his reported foe on September 12, Andre Berto, and the British boxer, Amir Khan.

"Keith Thurman and Shawn Porter are great fighters. They are great champions. I'm a great fighter. I'm in this division and you know Al Haymon's the manager and if he wants to make those fights happen, we can make those fights happen," Garcia, who recently moved to welterweight division, said, as quoted by Boxing Scene.

Thurman's reaction

The WBA "regular" welterweight title holder, Thurman (26-0, 22 KOs), also came from a fourth round TKO victory against former world champion Luiz Collazo in July in Florida.

After winning the fight, the unbeaten champion's momentum and confidence were high. Thurman even considered himself to be an "evolutionary fighter" and someone who has great power, according to CBS Sports. He regarded himself as a boxer who is not afraid to lose his unbeaten status and even called out Mayweather to fight him.

Naturally, with such confidence, he is ready to clash with Garcia, too. The Florida born fighter was at the ringside of the Garcia vs. Malignaggi fight at the Barclays Center in New York, when he said that he is prepared to collide with Garcia either before the year ends or at the early months next year, reported another article from Boxing Scene.

"I welcome every fighter from the 140 division that wants to fight at welterweight, especially a champion [at 140] like Danny Garcia... That would be a terrific fight," Thurman said.

Garcia vs. Porter off the ring

Porter, who triumphed via a unanimous decision over Adrien Broner at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas in June, also watched the fight between Garcia and Malignaggi. He told FightHype that he would be assessing the winner of the fight, especially after hearing reports that he is "tailor-made for Danny Garcia."

Garcia noted Porter's reaction and clarified what he meant by his statement.

"I just said I got the better style to beat him... if he wants to feel butthurt, that's his problem," Garcia said.

These words from both camps could be settled further on the ring to test Garcia's theory.
