Kelly Osbourne is in hot water for a comment she made about Latinos in an attempt to criticize Donald Trump for his racist remarks about Mexican immigrants.

According to E! Online, the current "Project Runway Junior" judge served as a co-host on the talk show "The View" on Tuesday.

While on the show, she was part of a conversation about Donald Trump and his racist comments about Mexican immigrants, after the group began to discuss what political candidate is leading in polls.

"In what way does he think that people are going to vote for him after he's just called them rapists and murderers?" said Osbourne.

"If you kick every Latino out of this country, then who is going to be cleaning your toilet, Donald Trump?" Osbourne said. "In the sense that...you know what I mean? But I'm saying that in L.A., they always..."

To which Rosie Perez said, "Latinos are not only the only people doing that."

Osbourne, realizing her mistake, quickly responded with "No, I didn't mean it like that! Come on! I would never mean it like that! I'm not part of this argument."

At the end of the show, Perez defended Osbourne, telling viewers, "I want to apologize to this young woman once again for being overly sensitive."

Osbourne responded with, "You have every right..."

However, Perez continued to apologize and said, "No, Kelly Osbourne is on our side and I was sensitive. My disdain should go to only Donald Trump, so I'm sorry, darling."

"No, you don't have to apologize to me," Osbourne said. "I love you, Rosie."

Regardless of Perez's attempt at some damage control, viewers went off on Twitter, and the hashtag #QueridaKellyOsbourne immediately began trending.

Many Latino Twitter users responded to Osbourne's comments by sharing their own experiences as working Latinos and pointed out what was offensive about her comments.
