Chris Brown has asked a judge to order a second paternity test for his 1-year-old daughter, Royalty.

The request is believed to be part of the "Loyal" singer's overall plan to keep from paying the reported $15,000 per month in child support demanded by mom Nia Guzman. According to TMZ, once Brown legally establishes he is Royalty's biological father he will be given the right to fight Guzman over support and custody arrangements.

Hollywood Life reports Brown and Guzman have been at it ever since she filed legal documents seeking full custody of Royalty and arguing he is not responsible enough to care for their daughter.

Previously, Guzman demanded $4,000 a week in support, while Brown is rumored to have expressed a willingness to pay only $2,500 a month. With that, those in Brown's camp insist she has started trying to keep him from seeing his daughter.

"The last four times he's tried to FaceTime Royalty, Nia had excuses," a source sid. "The first time she said Royalty was sleep. Chris was like, 'Okay cool, I'll call back in a couple of hours.' When he did that, Nia said she left and Royalty was with the nanny."

Recently, Guzman has also expressed concern for her daughter's safety after Brown's California home was robbed at gunpoint, and his aunt was forced into a closet. It was the second time the home has been reported robbed in the last month.

Reportedly, Brown's ex Rihanna has informed him she is willing to help him in his custody battle by going to court and telling the judge he's a great father more than capable of caring for his daughter.

Brown is rumored to have been "shocked" and "stunned," after all they've been through, the "Umbrella" singer would still want to aid him.
