With the release of PlayStation 4 last November, gamers are surely looking forward to the release dates of upcoming games for the newest console. GamesHQMedia recently uploaded a video in Youtube containing the 10 most highly anticipated PS4 games of 2014.

The countdown is kicked off by "Velocity 2X", a platform-based shoot-em-up game adventure game. This is a sequel to "Velocity Ultra" and released for PS4 and PS Vita.

Another game featured in the video is "Everybody's Gone to the Rapture", a first-person adventure game that's a successor of "Dear Esther". This game will be exclusively released for the PS4 console only.

Following "Rapture" is a "Shadow of the Beast". This is a remake of the 1989 game of the same title. The graphics of the game looks crisp and beautifully done. Similar to the original game, the reboot follows the story of Aarbron, a human warrior who was transformed into a monster by a beast lord.

Another highly-anticipated game featured in the video is "Deep Down", Capcom's fantasy online role-playing game for the PS4. The release date for the game has been delayed but according to game producer Kazunori Sugiura, the date was pushed to give them more time to fully explore the PS4 features for the game. He said, "We want to finish a game that fully uses the PS4 hardware specs."

Next is "The Order: 1886". The game is set on a parallel universe based on a Victorian-era London. This action-adventure game feature a secret order of elite knights who are armed with advanced technology in their fight to protect the world against human-animal hybrid monsters.

Number two in the countdown is the controversial "inFamous Second Son." The story is pretty much like your average video game: a protagonist with superhuman powers must fight his way through waves of government agents and soldiers whose sole purpose is to hunt him down. The game gained buzz after it released a Pre-Order Box Kit in Italy that comes with glow-in-the-dark condoms. Yup, because video games and condoms go hand in hand.
