Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Kate Upton had the surprise of a lifetime on Friday when she watched the Orlando Magic and Oklahoma City Thunders basketball game with boyfriend Justin Verlander.

E! Online reported that Upton received a marriage proposal, not from her beau Justin, but from the Orlando Magic's mascot. Once the pitcher for the Detroit Tigers stood up, the green dragon seized the opportunity. The dragon got down on one knee and proposed marriage to Upton with a pretty gigantic rock.

It seems Stuff the mascot was not immune to the charms of the bombshell and wanted to make her the Queen of Dragons.

After the game, Upton tweeted, "Thanks @STUFF_mascot for the proposal tonight! Great game!," and posted a photo of herself with her engagement ring.

While Kate didn't say "yes" to the proposal, she did accept the bling and posed for photos with her would-be fiancé. However, Stuff remains optimistic; "She didnt say yes... and she didnt say no... so you're saying there's a chance!" said Stuff.

TMZ notes that Kate mentioned the proposal was a "huge honor" and didn't mention whether she's definitively saying no.

Good humored Justin also posted the photo below showing his shock and confusion saying, "I was gone for5 seconds!!"

The two admitted to dating in the past but from the photos and tweets following the game, Kate and Justin are openly showing that they're back together. Rumors began after they were seen being extremely sweet and close during the Super Bowl weekend. They appeared together at the GQ Super Bowl Party at the Standard Hotel's Boom Boom Room.

Kate previously dated "Dancing with the Stars" Maxim Chernyav but split up before the holidays after about six months of dating. Sources say the pair remain good friends but could not get their schedules to give which led to the romance falling apart.

The game ended with Stuff's team triumphantly defeating the Thunders by 1-point, 103-102.
