Some notable NBA free agents remaining include Tayshaun Prince, Norris Cole and Jason Terry.

Prince, who has spent 12 of his NBA seasons with the Detroit Pistons, is now 35 years old. Prince is presently an unrestricted free agent, but the Cleveland Cavaliers have shown interest in him. The Cavaliers attempted to get a contract done with Prince last month but no deal was reached.

Now that the Cavaliers have locked LeBron James, Iman Shumpert, and Kevin Love, such a deal may be more simple. Prince is clearly past the prime of his career, and his championship run over the Los Angeles Lakers feels like decades ago, but he can still bring value to a roster off the bench. Last season Prince averaged 11.2 points per 36 minutes while playing for the Memphis Grizzlies, Boston Celtics and Pistons. Prince also made more than 46 percent of his perimeter shots last season.

If Prince did sign with the Cavaliers, he could certainly help the team off the bench, especially considering J.R. Smith opted out of his contract. Still, Tayshaun would be the prince while James would be the king.

Another name involved in free agency movement is Norris Cole. Cole is entering the final year of contract, but he is a restricted free agent. More than likely the New Orleans Pelicans will match any offer made by an opposing team. There are, however, a few teams showing interest.

The New York Knicks and Philadelphia 76ers are two of those teams. It's very unlikely Cole will go anywhere, but the Knicks could use another point guard. Jose Calderon, who turns 34 in September, missed half of last season after straining his Achilles. Cole isn't an elite point guard, and he can't take over games like Russell Westbrook, but he's still a talented player.

Cole is a talented player who has shown steady improvements over the years. Still just 26 years old, Cole has a lot of upside going forward. It makes sense for Phil Jackson and the Knicks, but again, it doesn't look like the Pelicans will let Cole out of their grasp this offseason.

Another free agent who has been in many rumors lately is Jason Terry. The former NBA champion played for the Houston Rockets last season, but he is "unhappy" with the Rockets proposed deal. Terry is going on 38 years old, and he has played for four teams over the last four seasons. He can still provide good bench perimeter shooting. The Pelicans recently reached out to Terry and his agent, but no deal has been reached.

In other free agent news, power forward Glen Davis has said that he is open to playing overseas if no NBA team signs him this offseason.
